Power window switch direction?

Ok guys here is an EASY question. Which way does the power window switch go?

On the drivers side when you pull up/back on the switch the windows goes down.

On the Passenger side when you pull up/back on the switch the window goes up.

Also any tips on replacing a switch?

P.S. This is for a 72 coupe.

Sounds like your passenger side switch is in upside down. You'll have to pull the emergency brake console to change it.

Yeah, pull the console and flip the switch around, one hint, there is a hidden bolt that holds the parking brake console on, that is accessed from the front of the center compartment, behind the seat.
That bolt/screw is a biotch to get to, you'll have to do some Corvette Yoga to get a tool on it.

There are 2 (I think) screws on each side of the brake console that have to be removed also.

The switch itself is held in place with two screws, and should be easy to flip around.

Had same problem with mine when I bought it, they are right just flip the switch. MIne windows go up when the switch is pulled up.
