Power Window Won't Go UP

I recently had the door panel off the drivers side door of my 84 vette because I was installing an aftermarket speaker. After reassembling the panel and putting all the wire connections back I find that the window goes down, but now it won't go back up. The passenger side one works fine so I guess it can't be a fuse. Would the motor just die all of a sudden like this or is there something else that could be wrong. When I listen closely I don't even hear any clicking noise when I try pushing the switch to make the window go down (possibly because its all the way down already??). Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It might be the window switch. Thats what happened on my brothers 86 it did the same thing it went down and wouldnt go back up. He had to put a new switch in it.

Problem solved. After tracing back some wires I found that the harness that connects directly to the motor was off.:duh Must have been on loosely and when I rolled the window down it came completely off. Thanks for all the help guys. Time to get some:z
