i have a stock 94 lt1 corvette and was wondering about the 1/4 mile et & speed it might get. and what modifications done at home would make it better. what would be the top speed for this c-4 thanks steve53

If your looking for measurable gains, exhaust or rear end gear ratio change would be the best bang for the buck.

A properly tuned motor that's 16 years old, that fires immediately when you pull the trigger, cold or hot, and one that doesn't make you antsy when you pull up to a stoplight cause you know it will keep right on idling smoothly like a top, is something to take pride in.

Bolting on hi-po parts to get a few more horses is easy, by comparison.

You didn't say if it was a stick 6 speed or a auto 4 speed. That will make a difference.

Schrade is right, make sure your car is up on its maintenance that goes a ways to see what your car stock is capable of.

I would expect a 94 auto to run about 14 sec or faster at 100+ in the 1/4 mile. A stick should be faster. I would expect around 13.7 or so and 103+ MPH. Auto easier to launch.

My 93 Coupe 6 speed, with cut air box lid, K&N filter, x-pipe in place of resonator and muffler eliminators, on street tires has ran a best of 13.52@108.83MPH.

My car should run high 12's but I cannot launch it...yet...
