Pressure Flush with Phoenix Systems V12

I'm going to pressure flush the brakes from the master cylinder using a Phoenix Systems V-12. Phoenix suggests buying a stock brake fluid resevoir cap and putting a small pipe through the center of it to connect to the Phoenix V-12. This would take the place of the pressure bleeder adaptor on page 5-14 Figure 14, of the 94 Service Manual Part J35589. Any advice on doing this would be helpful.
