prestone back flush kit will it work?

my cooling system ( full of rusty colored water) needs a back flushing, question: will the prestone back flushing kit work on a 94 LT1 eng with it,s reverse flow cooling?
if not then how do i back flush my cooling system?

I wouldn't use the kit because of the reverse flow cooling just drain and run fresh water through until it runs clear with the engine running. Are you sure the "rust colored water" isn't the DEXCOOL coolant?
