A lot of guys put the 2400 protorque convertor in with the 3:15's ...and over time on the net Ive seen them end up going for 3:42's and a Yank 3500 1.6 str unit.
I liked the total civilility of the yank 3500 1.6 str with the 3:42...
The car drove like a lexus. Smooooth as silk.. It is the nicest combo..
The protorque is a nice way to go to with the 3.15's. I'm just ranting away..with what I have seen a lot of guys do after the protorque .
You may want to skip the protorque and move directly to the yank 3500.
I think the yank 3500 with the 3:42 is more useful on highway roll on performance than the protorque 2400? (with either 3.15 or 3.42's)
Just a lot of friends moved from the protorque to the yank so I hope this gives insight.
