Problem with new sunvisors. c4c5 help?

Using my service manual that I bought at Carlisle (you would be proud c4c5) I replaced my light up vanity sunvisors/sunshades with OEM ordered from the chevy dealer. They were very easy to install, but they do not light up. I have checked and re-checked the connections and nothing. I even re-installed the old ones and they light up? What could be the prob?

BTW, the old ones were real loose and the cover that you flip up and down over the mirror was broke, which is why they were replaced. The light on the old one work fine...

Now how am I supposed to put my lipstick on?

I would check to see if there are light bulbs in the mirrors.
If so, I would send them back.

The latest:
Criswell in Gaithersburg, MD is looking at the wiring. They have said those famous words: "We have never seen this problem before"
Nevertheless, the repair will be covered by warranty. I'll keep ya'll posted.
