I ordered my C6 vert in August. Was just told this morning I shouldnt expect it until later March early April. They told me GM is having problems with parts for the power top. Oh well, I cant drive it now anyway. Snow on the ground. Come on Spring.

Thanks for the info Rob. At least I know I'm not getting jerked off. Good things are worth waiting for. I will
Thanks again
Bill

Does this also effect the production of non-power top verts?

The manual top verts have no production issues at all. It takes all of 20 seconds to manually lower the top. The auto top adds weight to the car. I just dont get it!!!

Im told if you take the power top option off, you can expect the car to be built in February. And Greenie... what dont you get. When you spend $75000 on a car you want everything. I dont care about weight. I'm not gonna race it.

$75,000? Id love to be your dealer!! LOL If you delete the power top option, you get the car NOW!!! Isnt that worth something???

Billy you cannot be paying 75k for that Vert? MSRP isn't even that high.

Billy,

I must say that I'm interested in the $75,000 number as well. I know the vert costs a little more to start with and the auto top is a big ticket item and you did say you ordered "everything". So it might be possible if your dealer is adding a premium above and beyond the MSRP. Let us know.

I think an everything optioned C6 vert comes in around $62k MSRP. The power top takes around 18 seconds to go up and down and only adds 14 pounds to the car. Hardly a performance hinderance.

O.K. call off the dogs boys. I paid MSRP - 67K and some change tax title the works. I cant drive it till spring anyway so I'll wait. I must say the wait is tough. Thanks all for checking in

By the way MoeJr, my "candy ass" is 72 years old.

Billy that is my signature not a dig at you. That is on the end of all my posts.

Moe

No offense taken Moe. And Greenie yes that would have been a better choice of words. Thank Guys
