PRODUCTION UPDATE: 2009 GT1 Championship and CSC Special Editions

The latest information I have on the production of the 2009 GT1 Championship Edition Corvettes is that originally, GM was going to build only 100 of them.

I have now heard that they will ONLY be built to order.

I'm not sure if that includes the Competition Sport Package Corvettes, but I know that it is now applicable to the 2009 GT1 Championship Edition Corvettes.

Could end up being a very RARE vette.. Most people dont even know they are making these cars.

YEP - It will be interesting to see how many GT1 Championship Editions get built...

The new GT1 Championship Edition comes as a commemoration of “a decade of success” and the Corvette C6.R. The car will be available in Corvette coupe, convertible and Z06 model. Championship Edition cars will have specific VIN sequences following the No. 3 Corvette C6.R and the No. 4 Corvette C6.R. Each sequence will only have a hundred cars, limiting the production to 600 units.​
