Purchasing an '01 manual 'vert

Hi!! I'm not quite sure where I should be posting my question, but this seemed the most appropriate.

I'm about to purchase an '01 manual 'vert and I'm curious about the gear ratio that would typically be found with a manual transmission. Would you typically find the base gears mated with a manual? My '96 has 3.07.....what might I expect in this '01 manual?

As you can tell, I'm not a gear head. Don't laugh too hard at my question, but I don't know where to find the answer. Thanks much in advance!

That is correct.
2001 Std. Axle Ratio 3.42:1 Six Speed.
The automatic is Std. Axle Ratio 2.73:1 MXO but has an option
Performance Axle Ratio 3.15:1 MXO Auto (Not Avail w/Z06)
