I have had my 07 since March. About 3 or 4 times, I have gotten into the car, push the start button, and nothing happens...no lights come on or sounds or anything...just plain silence. I have waited several seconds and tried again, and it will start after trying it 2 to 3 times. I assuming that the car is not receiving the signal from the FOB, but I'm not sure. It must have received some type of signal, because it unlocked the door. I haven't tried the dealer yet, because I'm sure they won't find anything due to not being able to duplicate the situation.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, or heard of any fix for this?

I think you question would get more responses in the C6 section.

Prior to trying to start, engage DIC and select "battery voltage." If it's below 12, then issues can occur. (I've even seen only one HID head light go on during this low voltage condition.) Once the battery is charged back up, then both HID's work as designed. Strange, but true. Be sure you keep your FOB at least 25-30' away from the car when garaged. Otherwise the car will use power to "communicate" with the FOB. This will kill your battery in time. This is also known as: DBS.

Hi Tony;

I had a similar problem ... turned out I caused it myself....may be the same as yours. When I bought the car the shipper did not store the car properly and ended up draining the battery. Through boosting it and playing with the door locks (etc) to get it running again ... I inadvertantly put the car into an anti-theft mode (...so I learned from the dealer later). You can see this on the dash ... a picture lights up showing a lock around the car symbol. Everything worked except the push start....nothing. There is a procedure in your owners manual to reset this anti-theft feature.
