I think I still have his Cell phone # from when he was at Bg last year. if anyone wants to give him a call

Great!!!!

The smile on his face seems quite evident of the power under the hood.

Glad to know that he is well and will soon be back in touch.

It's for real :) That's my car and Eric is doing a fair amount of the driving for the One Lap of America because he built the motor and installed the T1 suspension and dialed in the car.

Currently we're at 14th place overall with ~400hp to the wheels. We're racing at VIR, Roebling Road and Nelson Ledges next! Stop on by if you're near!

It was great spending the week racing and hanging out with Zoner from time to time. They lost the trans in their Camaro between Virginia and Georgia and they were able to install a replacement overnight without missing a single event!

Eric and I are very happy with our racing adventure. Basically, we finished 15th place overall out of 90+ teams with a basic heads/cam C5 Corvette, 75 shot of nitrous and T1 suspension modifications. The only car that finished ahead of us that was not a fully gutted, caged, non-daily driver was a ZR1. Everyone else in the top 13 spots had psuedo all out race prepared cars that somehow were licensed to drive on the streets. We almost beat a factory entered Subaru STi with 500hp. They finished 14th. There were also 2 Dodge factory entries and no GM entries whatsoever :( There were, however, a lot of Corvettes that were entered privately.

Mike, if you're reading this, we're still open to the Callaway sponsorship program. :) A fully race prepared C6 is not out of the question. ;) Hopefully we can have some type of negotiations wrapped up within 60 days as it does take a full year of planning and preparation to do well at this event which includes practice track time at all of the venues.
