I'm new here and think you people are GREAT for helping each other.I have an almost mint white 73 coupe 454 with 38K original miles.
Being a retired FireFighter I finally can afford one and got the one I was looking for.
My first question is.....
Where can I find parts for a 3 port wiper pump, i.e. o-rings, washers etc.
The pump leaks in back when activated. IMO bad piston seal ring.

Also, how do I get the piston out of the pump? I'm thinking you have to push the spring down

through the hole in the back of the housing to release something.

TIA

Jeff"

FYI I figured it out myself. First get a clutch type bit to take the nylon ratchet off.
Once you have the cam and actuator arm off you can lift the pump out.
On top off the piston there are two raised areas. Use the tips of all small needle nose
there and hold the plunger and give it 1/4 turn. The piston will come out.
I'm getting a rebuild kit from Bumper To Bumper. I call the chevy dealer here and they can get me just the pump for @ $81.00. YEAH RIGHT! All I need is the rubber cup washer for the piston.

The GM rebuild kit for the pump is P/N 4914357 "valve package" - has the O-rings, seals, valves, etc.
