Well I wanted to rebuild my Q-Jet 4MV out of my 74, so I took everything apart, cleaned it, replaced a few things and now of course... I can't remember how everything goes back together!!! I've got it all figured out except for how the fast idle cam, cam follower, fast idle lever, and the secondary lockout lever all go together with the little spring holding tension on the fast idle lever and cam follower. Any diagrams or pictures that you know of showing the assembly of these components would be greatly appreciated! Again, any pictures of the choke side of the throttle plate put together are needed. Thanx in advance guys!

Ian,
What exactly do you need?? Exploded views or completely assembled.
I have a Haynes Rochester Carb Manual that covers all models....

Let me know and I can scan a few..

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it may be a starting point:

And about the rebuild, how was it? Was it difficult? What did you use? How did you learn to do the rebuild? The reason I ask these questions is because I'm also thinking about rebuilding mine/a QJet as well. A little insight would be much appreciated...

More details...

When looking at the carb from the primary side (front), on the throttle body there are (3) vacuum hook-ups. The main, biggest one is for the PCV line I know, but there are (2) more on either side of it. (1) on the left and (1) on the right. These are the ones I'm looking for answers on. Finally, on the float bowl looking from the primary side (front) as well, there is (1) hook-up to the right of where you screw the fuel line in. This is the last one I need help with. (3) total mystery vacuum hook-ups...

P.S. Just for my own sanity, there's (1) more hook-up on the choke side of the float bowl that I believe was for the air filter cowl line, correct?

-good idea to make a photographic record...

-with the advent of Digital-cameras is quick and easy to shoot a progression of pictures of one's disassembly-job of any sort, --because no matter how careful and mechanically-inclined you may be, --if you don't do such specialized work on a regular basis it is really easy to get in just such a bind as the above...
