I am new to the CAC so I hope this question is not redundant. I have been waiting for the C7 for over 2 years. I placed my order literally early on the first day of the first consensus back in May. According the VIN number my car was one of the first ones produced; then, it was pulled for a so called "quality review inspection." This was over one month ago. I discovered through the so-called "chat" with a GM representative that my car has been sitting on a lot in Nashville. How long do these so called quality review checks take and does anyone know what is involved. I am now getting the run around from GM.

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center. I would suggest talking to Chevrolet Customer Assistance here on the forums. You can find them in this thread:

Rob--Been there done that several times. Do you or anyone at CAC know exactly what a quality inspection hold entails. Are we talking days, weeks, etc. The car has been sitting in Nashville for several weeks. I cannot imagine this taking more than an hour or two at the most. I know what the words mean, but I am frustrated on the hold up.

I would like to note that my car has been removed from the GM tracking site. The site originally said that the car had been produced and shipped. Two days later my order # had been removed from the site with the message to contact either the dealer or GM assistance. Very frustrating.

Unfortunately, I don't. To the best of my knowledge, quality holds are done at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant.

They would not be done in Nashville. All quality checks are done at the plant prior to shipping.

Who is the dealer, and have you contacted them?
