Hi guys, I just had a local muffler shop install my new Magnaflow mufflers. They sound awesome. The tips hang a little farther from the bumper than what I would like. Is there an adjustment for this or do I just bend to mounting brackets up until it hangs the way I like? The instructions say to keep the tips away from the plastic, but mine are about 1.5 inches from the bumper. I'm thinking 3/4 - 1 inch would look better.

Mine are about 1 1/2 inches below the plastic and I don't mind the look...

The look is definately growing on me, but everyone I see comments how they think the tips should be right up against the bumper.

HTRK, thanks for recently telling me about your source for your Magnaflows! I ordered from the same source, received them quickly, and have them installed. Mine hangs down 1 inch. They look just right. I love the mufflers. A little too much resonance at some points but I will learn to live with it!

No problem. I'm glad I could help. There is resonance under 2000 rpm, but I new that going in and I kinda like it. I grew up having loud muscle cars (lots of resonance). These sound just right. I adjusted mine up a little over the weekend. Now they are about an inch from the body. I am much happier with the way they look now. I even polished them up with some Mothers metal polish.
