So on January 7th my car came home from the autobody shop after being painted and completely buffed out.The shop I use has a spray booth and the car was cooked in the spray booth after paint.
So since January 7th the car had been in my heated garage maintained at 55 degrees, Normally I only keep the garage around 40 unless I am going to work in it.
I brought my hood inside my house on saturday to try and install a new boss for the hood hinges,I also have the doors inside so I can rebuild them, And the inside of my house now has very noticable chemical "new car paint smell". The garage is a tight garage and does not have this smell, and there is more surface area of new paint in the garage then in the house.(does that make sence)
Anyways the house is normally around 70 degrees,Do I have the paint smell because the solvents are coming out in the house because of the higher temputures? Should I be trying to keep the garage at 70 degress so that the solvents come out?
