I do need cat-back, but I might look into getting some nice aftermarket mufflers & then buying the rest used or have a muffler shop make some

Yep....and in my experience you get what you pay for...buy cheap...get cheap. I bought Borla because they were highly recommended from various reputable sources, they sound great and I got a lifetime warranty. I installed the system myself and found it to be exceptionally easy to do. I get many compliments on how it sounds as well as how it looks. Best part is that he complete system is stainless and I won't have to worry about it again.
Buy what you want, but I do not mind paying extra for quality and peace of mind. To each his own...

It is like the difference between like leather vinyl for the seats or real leather. Buy the vinyl if you don't mind sticking to the hot half melted vinyl in the summertime or get what is right, the real leather. Again you get what you pay for....

Just thought I should give an update-I decided to go with a complete cat-back system-I Ordered the 3inch B&B Triflows($899+ shipping from tbyrne motorsports) last week & they should arrive in a few days. I cant wait to get them hooked up!
