Quick Question

Do all T350 trannys have the same spline or can they be different? i'm asking because my car is in mass and i'm currently in cali for school so i cant go and check out what spline is on the tranny.

i was looking at a yoke on ebay for a t350 and it said it had a 27 spline, so do all t350's have 27 spline? not a tranny guy so all info is appreciated

When replacing my output shaft seal and having the driveshaft worked I found that my front yoke was a 27 spline. It is no longer produced even in the aftermarket world. You have to locate a good used one or one New In Box. I had mine buffed and then reinstalled.

I'm not certain this will work for you. The manual transmission require a different yoke and different years had different yokes.

i have an 81 automatic and the original was a TH400 but it was shot so the P.O. threw in a fresh rebuilt TH350 so i've counted the spline before when i threw it in and 27 does sound about right, was just double checking. about the deffernt yokes, were some longer than others?

400 and 350 yokes are different. The seal OD, the spline count and diameter both. You'll need to find a 350 yoke.

I do know the manual transmission yokes are different spline.
