quick question

I am planning on buying some hedman headders soon and I need to know if there is a steering damper inside the crossmember. Hedman says that the hedders "Will not fit steering damper inside crossmember" so if there is one then what am I suppose to do because I can get these hedders for a very good price and overnight shipping. The part number for the hedders is 68300.

"steering damper inside crossmember" I take this to be for non power steering cars. ??? I thought that i saw one of the parts mag selling headman headers for vettes "C-3" I'll have to look again.
