R-D Racing Targa-Truss Bar

Would those of you that have one of the Targa-Truss bars please comment. I have only read of one owner's experience, but there must be many C4 owners who now have one of these. I live in southern CA, so taking the top off my C4 should be a desirable experience, but the resulting increase in body flex and vibrations makes topless driving an unpleasant experience. At $200 I would just buy one and see if it works, but at over $400, I really want to know if you owners think it is worth it.

Having read the history of the C4 design, it is unfortunate the car was not built as a T-top. Styling won out over good engineering.
