1989 Callaway Twin Turbo Aerobody Coupe
The copper and brass unit that Callaway used in the production of these cars is not available anymore. The replacement is now a Ron Davis Radiator. I had a very small leak and the radiator was not repairable so a new Ron Davis is going in now. Better cooling all aluminum what more could you ask for as well as a new 180 degree thermostat and the programing of the ecm to turn the fan on at 200 degree should have this car running pretty cool in the hot days of summer.

:_rock That Carlisle traffic is enough to sell a dozen Ron Davis radiators. I see it now-- A Callaway Twin Turbo at a gas station selling Ron Davis Radiators.... ;)

Is it a direct bolt in? I know that Be Cool had made one for the B2ks.

My car has the Ron Davis radiator too. It was installed when it lived in Arizona to combat the serious heat down there. I guess it's about nine years old now. It fits right in and you can't even tell it's there except for a small area on the passenger side where it's not covered by the shroud and you see aluminum. Pete is right that they are a nice upgrade with better cooling. :upthumbs

Pete, I am awaiting your final results, as I am considering the same :m

Has anyone else swapped out their radiator to another??
:confused Ummm... me. Are my results not valid?

:D Of course they are - although the 90+ cars got a major revision to the cooling system. I do recall you saying the previous owner did not have any run hot issues with the Ron Davis Radiator :cool

How is your Callaway doing?? Have you brought her out of storage yet?
Looking forward to seeing her again! :beer

No... still in storage for probably another month. We were getting some good weather for a little while and some rain was cleaning the crud off the roads but this week we've gotten some snow and the salt trucks have come out again. :mad

True, I didn't think about the fact you guys have the pre '90 cooling systems. I'm wondering if Callaway got the idea to use the Ron Davis radiator from my car as they had to remove and re-install during the engine rebuild...
