radio buttons out and I have dash apart right now.

I doubt if I can help, but I believe it might help if one knew what specific buttons you are talking about, type of radio, Bose with CD, etc

The problem is with the original bose radio. The 2 and 4 buttons are dark but work fine. Is there a replaceable lamp behind the face plate?

The older Delcos you could replace bulbs but I am very sure for the newer or ours, the bulbs are soldered to the boards. You can replace them but need to unsolder them of course.
