Rag Top Protectant

What do you veteran C5 rag top owners put on you top to protect it or have it shed water ..............or is it unecessary?

Although our '02 has a white vinyl top, as does our Grand Sport, I did have a cloth top on my '88 and never did anything to that. It just repelled water on its own!

If you have a cloth top there is a nice cleaner/protectant kit out by 303. I used it on mine and it looks great after you use it.

I believe that Haartz manufactures the convertible tops for C5 Corvettes. Here is their web site. http://www.haartz.com/Consumer_Info/Consumer_Info_Main_Page.htm
They recommend a product called "Raggtopp" cleaner & protectant. I purchased their product but haven't used it yet since my car is only a month old. You can read what their recommendations for cleaning and protecting your top.
