i am wanting to put chrome rally wheels on my 1978 corvette. with these is there a need to put on a trim ring?

They look much better with trim ring and center caps, just like the standard painted rally rim.

thanks tjay...do you have these on your vette? i would like to see some pictures of these with the rings and without if anyone has them.

Definitely need the rings and centercaps. Haven't seen an all chrome rally on anything before. I think it's probably too much chrome (I like the subtle differences in silver tones with the chrome and steel wheels) but it would be interesting to see. Post up pics when you get them!

thanks white...i am looking to replace the aftermarket wheels on my vette now and like the looks of the rally's. look at my avatar pic of my vet and give me your opinions. do you like those on my car or would the rally's look nicer?
i have ceramic coated headers, sidepipes, a beautiful fully detailed and chrome and stainless line engine compartment with high performance sbc, and a gear drive( i know...alot of you guys don't like them) but i do.

I kinda like the wheels you have on there just looking at your avatar. You can't go wrong with the Rallys as they are classic. We ended up getting a set of C3 aluminum wheels (pace car) to replace our rallys.
It's all a matter of opinion and I don't think you can go wrong with the rallys or your current rims.

thanks for the pic junkie...so what do you all think of them? would they look good on a vette?

Heres one maybe a little better!!:thumb
