I have just finished repainting my air cleaner and now want to put the original decal back on.....it was hanging off when I bought the car a few years ago so has been in a safe place....now is the time to re-attach it....thought of getting a replacement, but this one has the original date codes.....any of the expert detailer have a suggestion as to the best adhesive to use, ie, that won't melt in the heat of the engine bay....thanks.....greydbj

Good question! I have the same issue. I replaced the corvette sticker on the pass side valve cover. Blew it off with a pressure washer! Tried to use all types of glue and couldnt get it to stick. Finally used a small dot of Permatex RTV Black.....Stuck good. But that was a diffrent kind of sticker. I was gonna use Super glue but I'll wait to see what kinds of comments I see on here.

Any other suggestions....I thought some of the long term experts out there may have a suggestion or two....I am all ears.....and thanks in advance.....dbj
