Ready for Paint

After several years of restoration, she is ready for paint. L79 66 Roadster. Original motor, matching numbers (drive train) and most other parts, not replaced over 250,000 miles of driving. Owned it for 40 years. New sneakers on her today.

Will be ready for my 12,000 mile trip next year. If you want me to stop by, (Doing research on owners who have had their car for 30 + years) let me know. Pictures taken today, not many days like this left in Maine. You don't have to own your car for 30 years, I am trying to get to all 48 states, so don't be shy, if you have a corvette, I will stop by if possible. I am planning route now , so............

There's a good number of Corvette fans up here in Canuckistan! Of course, we don't actually drive our Corvette. We put them onto skis and have the dogs drag 'em around in the snow.

It is me , my car, my tent, my lap top, and ski gogles. My dash still has the dents from my skis from the early 70's. Put socks on the tips, laid them on the radio speaker and tail end between the seats.

It was great meetin' you and your car last week.

It was a pleasure meeting you. And listen you folks out there, even though I am a mid year guy,

The ride in a 2008 C6 with heads up display, 6 speed , and more interior gauges and things then I can remember .

Was spectacular !!!!!!!!!! It was so fast, I did not get out of 4 th gear.
