I replaced the spark plus today and no luck........what else should I check...?

You are being rather vague in your description of the malady. Please elaborate.

Engine runs very rough when I press on the gas (hesitation) idle is good.

Oh, this is gonna be tough. :eyerole

With such sparse information given, I will have to think about this for a while. ;)

Maybe someone else can interpret the symptoms.

It can be one of several things, but the 1st thing that comes to mind is bad plug wires.

I was kinda thinking the same. Or maybe distrigutor or fuel pressure. Air filter is clean and the TB is also clean. It's gasping bad for something. Anyone else have the same issue with their L98?

Think vacuum leak. The L98 had more than its share of problems with oil and vacuum leaks around the intake manifold.

Plugs----wires,cap,rotor would seem the first place to start to me. I am guessing that you changed the plugs initially because of a perceived problem. When did it start? Could even be bad gas. Hope it's not to tough to track down, but without a little more info it could take a while.

The more details you can provide the easier it will be to find the possible problem:D

Thanks alot fellow Vette drivers. I had a feeling it would be some kind of spark or ignition problem. Turns out it was. I think the rotor (sp) Took the cap off, cleaned her up, rotor was pretty dirty. Also decided to replace the plug wires while I was getting busy. Runs great again.
