I just thought that all you good Callaway people should know the truth all the former Callaway Registry car that the gentlemen ( I use that term lighty ) named Billy in Atlanta has been bragging about.
First of all, the former owner whose name was Shane who lived in Alpharetta managed to wreak this car twice. As luck would have it, he tried to drag race it at a car show in Chattanooga a month later and managed to blow up the motor. This everyone knows. The truth on how Billy came in position of this car is most interesting. The car was declared a total loss by Shane's insurance company. Shane had no money to rebuild and with storage costs building up over the months, he decided to give up his ownership. The insurance group offered the car up to anyone but had only received one bid. It was from David Fulcher at Tom Jumper Chevy in Atlanta. Every knew that he really deserved to have the car because of his years of taking care of this vehicle. David could only afford a small amount on his bid as his wife was expecting a baby. Money was tight for him. Everyone knew this and cleared the way for him to get the car except for Billy. He snaked David by bidding higher on the last day. This individual as it was explained to me is just that type of person. (Edited - Please see my post below - *89x2*)
If there is any justice with this issue, he has spent more money that the car will ever be worth. I was told around 30k. The car as I last heard was still not running right.
Everyone that knows David in the Atlanta area says nothing but good things about him. I was told that he even re-assembled the car for Billy after all repairs and updates were done. I am sure that he did not want this action to fall this way, but he choose to do it because he wanted to be sure that it was done right. Everyone says he has a big heart. Well he proved it this these actions!
Well, I will end here by saying that I believe that "what goes around, comes around". (Edited - Please see my post below - *89x2*)
Like I said, I just wanted the truth to be know,
Paul
