I have a broken rear 1/4 panel on drivers side. Got the bumper off finally. Couldn't believe how difficult that was. Man if you have ever taken one off, you know what i mean. So now I'm am wondering how to get the 1/4 panel off, all that glue and junk they have on there. How do i get that gunk off there?

Maybe a jigsaw and/or sawzall and an angle grinder?
Whatever you do, remember that tworking with fiberglass can be nasty. The glass fibers can be so small you don't even see them. Wear a paper filter mask and don't wash your clothes at home.
Good luck.

Vette magazine Nov 2003 issue had an article about doing just that. They used a die grinder to make three cuts and an air chisel to rip out the old panels. Quite a bit of work, plus you got al the fitment sanding to do.

There may be an archive or something on their website as the project wasn't finished for the one issue. I think its www.vetteweb.com
