Rear axle drain plug

Hey guys (and girls ). Can someone tell me where the Plug is on the rear axle . Want to check the fluid level. No Hoist and close confinment. 81 Vette .Thnx Dave :w

Passenger side, on the rear cover, above the centerline.

Oops, you have a batwing so I'm not sure anymore. But It's still the most logical place.

Thats what i thought also ( most logical place), but i was trying to find the plug while lying on the ground and just couldn't seem too see the plug. Dave :boogie:boogie :w

Much easier to check w/the spare tire and lower shell removed.
I also (wayyyy back when) drilled and Tapped a front lower corner for a drain plug;)

There is no drain plug, the fill plug is here (where the an hose comes out, of course the pump and hose is not stock equipment):

Why do you have a hose connected to your Fill hole, that appears to be hooked up to a fuel pump ?

It's an electric oil pump, it was a rear cooler setup.
