89 corvette convertible. OK, I removed my driver's side rear wheel bearing hub assembly the other day to replace it. I could not get the three T55 torx head bolts out. So I got my grinder out and ground off the old bearing assembly. Got the hub off. Now my problem is I need to replace the three bolts.
I went down to the dealership and ordered the bolts. According to their diagram it was number 38 on the print.
The bolts came in today, they were actually the bolts that secure the caliper to the caliper bracket.
They told me that this was the only bolts listed.
Has any one else had this problem and do you know the proper part number?
I am desperate, the weather is beautiful and I have a long weekend coming up. Top down weather.
