Rear Bumper Fascia Mat

Hello Everyone,

I have the instruction sheet for the mat. It says to bend the tabs, then insert the tabs under the luggage floor. How do you get the tabs under the floor ? Do I have to cut the carpeting?

Any help would be appreciated.
