Rear hatch plastic covers

I've searched the forum trying to find a way to make the 2 small round plastic pieces on the exterior of the hatch black again. They are discolored and I'm sure this is a common problem. Dressing, paint, replace? Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks in advance.
