Rear Hatch Release Problem

I have a 1996 Collector Edition Convertable. All at once the 2 push buttons that release the rear hatch to stow the convertable roof will note operate. I checked the 25 amp fuse in the fuse box and it was OK. Has any one else experienced this problem? I am thinking that it has to be between the push buttons & the power source. Where can I find a wiring diagram to trace the wires?

Does the key remote button pop the hatch? If not, the problem may be in the release solenoid.
