Rear Plate Frame For C5

Does anyone know of a chrome, stainless, or polished rear plate frame for a C5 that fills the stock space? I don't really need the "full monte" mega-buck billet type that covers the back-up lights.

It amazes me the small things that bug us, and GMs inability to "sweat the details" sometimes. I agree, they made the recess too large around the plate, so they come out with the plastic frame that fills the gap but then prevents using a regular nice frame. I haven't seen or found a total solution. I was actually thinking of having something machined and realized the back bumper is usually moving away from traffic at a rapid rate and no one else notices it. I just use one of those Weather-Tech covered ones. It looks pretty nice. Good luck.Bruce

Thanks. I found a metal one at www.kewlauto.com that is designed to fit, but at $149.00 it's not much cheaper than the wide variety that covers the back-up lights.
