Rear springs on '76

Any recommendations on a replacement rear leaf spring for a 76 Corvette... steel or fibreglass?? any issues with installing?

Welcome to the CAC. I have replaced the rear spring on C2/C3 cars and it's a pretty easy job with some jack stand and a floor jack. I've always used another original spring so I can't speak to the aftermarket products available. I think the glass spring usually rides better. Our 81 has the fiberglass spring and it's a better ride than others I have had, especially since I changed shocks a couple of years ago. Search the forums. Springs have been talked about a lot on here.
