I picked up a set of Prothane Poly rear stabilizer link bushings for my 72 BB, as the stock rubber has about disintegrated. My simple question is has anyone installed these puppies? I can't seem to figure out how the poly part is pressed into the bar end hole, and the hole in link.

A straight press in with lube doesn't seem to work, and my next attempt will be to soak the poly part in very hot water prior to trying to press it in.

Anyone with the obvious answer that I'm missing??

Thanks

I did this last winter. Had to play with it a little. Used lots of lub and I put a noose around the bushing as I started it into the hole. I used a nylon zip-tie which I cut off after it started in. It kept the bushing from bulging out of shape as it starts in.
