Rear Wheel Bearing Greaser

Hi Everyone

I am new to this site and have already learned several things.

I have a few questions about the rear wheel bearing greaser.

I have a 74 coupe.

1. What is the proceedure to use it?

2. Is there anything I need to watch for or do when useing it?

3. How much grease do I use?

4. What is the best grease to use?

Send it back, they are not worth it. If the bearings need grease they need to be replaced.
I custom rebuild these and got a set of arms in that someone used one of those tools on. The new grease was 1/2 through the inner bearing. It managed to push the old grease into the well a little. There is no way to gauge the amount you are pushing in and too much will blow out the seals. If there is no noise or play in the bearings leave them alone. If there is then it time to rebuild them.
Email me if you want a link to one of my pictorials on the job.
good luck
Gary

Thank you for the reply Gary. It was very helpful. :) :beer
There is no noise or play in the bearings, but they have
not been greased since the car was brand new. It has
close to 90,000 miles on it.
I was trying to do some pm.

You're about 50,000 miles overdue for some PM, try to see to them as soon as you can. GTR is right about those tools being a Bubba invention. RWB on a C2/C3 is not an area to do things 2nd rate.
