Ok I'm going to replace left rear bearing,I need to know if I need to buy anything other than that for this job?And can anyone tell me what to do or not to do,or what to look out for?.Or can anyone send a link about this job.Ive changed my U joints on half-shafts,is this job as easy as u joints? Thanks very much for any help out there.

you are in for a real treat! I am still in the process of changing the same bearing. you are going to need a 36 mm socket (pep boys) and a T55 torx. you are going to need a torch and a half inch breaker bar, and a length of galvanized pipe. If you have access to an impact wrench get it!
the spindle nut (36mm) is torqued to 160 ft/lbs so figure how many years it has been on the car. If you heat it with a oxy/map or acetaline torch it will come off fairly easy, without heat you will break tools. The torx bolts are also hard to get at and that is where I left off last weekend, I will try to pull the half shaft to get at the torx bolts, if that doesnt work I will continue to remove the entire knuckle, let me know how you are doing,
the following is a thread I did over on corvette forum, check it out.
