Rear Window Trim...???

On my 81 the rear window black aluminum trim piece at the top right side (not the corner) is popping up.
I'm not to savvy as to what holds it down maybe clips???
If so where can I get them and how are they installed? Could the trim piece itself be damaged also?
I tried Corvette America etc but their not showing anything.

I can tell you that their are clips that hold the trim in place and a special tool is required to remove the trim from the clips. Not sure where to get them. Have you tried a body shop, EBay, Junk Yard?

Purchase the 81 assembly instruction manual (AIM). AIM shows the installation of the window trim. Clips and the trim removal tool are available in the generic auto parts places and the Corvette aftermarket providers.

My advice is not to attempt to remove the trim without the tool. You'll end up bending what you have.
