noise coming from rearend new rebuilt rearend replaced all six ujoints I here it when decelerating. automatic transmission has front end leak. Noise is not as pronouced when decelerating in 2nd or going around corners could it be my rear spindles or trans. :confused

Rumbling made me think of exhaust. :D
It seems you've replaced the major components of the rear end drive train and it would seem possible to me that if it isn't the tranny being low on fluid (not likely to make that type of noise) that it could be the rear end? Can you take it back to the shop and take someone for a drive to have them hear what you are hearing?

Make sure they put the right oil in the rear end..... if its not that,, then most likely the rack and pinon is out of adjustment.....like Heidi says take it back to the mech. that did the work

:confused No rack and pinon on this car unless updated to something like the Keisler upgrade kit.

I had similar noise issue, found that when U-joints where replaced, mech passed on ID'ing out of round condition on the wheels side yoke / U-joint interface this allowed excessive play and drive train noise that finally lead to replacement of the wheel side yoke. Result, a nice smooth ride during speed up, slow down and shifting.

My rearend noise turned out to be from the axle shafts wearing down agains the pin the spyder gears run on. This is not an uncommon problem. This caused the limited slip clutches to make noise. One of the signs to check for is if the top of the rear tires lean inward. Jack the car up and have someone grab the top of the tire and pull out on it, the stub axle shouldn't move very far in and out of the diff.
