HAS ANYBODY USED CORVETTE DASH CLUSTER SERVICE.COM TO HAVE THIER DASH CLUSTER REBUILT? IF YES HOW R THEY? DO U RECOMMEND ANY OTHER PLACE.

I used a guy on Ebay who goes by Scarabexc. He did mine for a little over $300 a year ago. New bulbs, power supplies, and led's. He also gives a 1 year warranty. He even let me pay a core charge until I returned my old one and promptly refunded it. Very good job, good work. Functions perfectly. Nice to see what's happening with the car.

Before sending it off, look closely at the board contacts where it grounds. You could have just some oxidation at the contacts, or where the leads ground to the vehicle. Also look for breakage of the leads ON the board, especially on the corners.

Use a lightly oiled toothbrush on the contacts and connector pins, then plug it back in and test.

I JUST WANT TO THANK ALL FOR THEIR HELP AND ADVICE ON MY DASHBOARD CLUSTER FIX. A SPECIAL THANKS GOES OUT TO gmjunkie FOR THE TALK AND THE WALK THRU WITH THE CLUSTER FIX. WHAT I DID IS...I REMOVED THE DASHBOARD CLUSTER AND TIGHTENED ALL SCREWS AND CLEANED THE CONNECTIONS AND MADE SURE ALL GROUDS WERE TIGHT AND MAKING GOOD CONTACT. THE CLUSTER IS EVEN BRIGHTER AND BETTER THEN NEW. LETS HOPE IT STAYS THAT WAY! gmjunkie THANKS AGAIN U R A:cool DUDE!coolbeer
