Being on the West coast I'll probably not be of much help,but have you looked around your area for engine rebuilders? Any local corvette club's that might have idea's?. When my 91's engine took a dump(135,000.mi.) I found a local rebuilder to do it. Also look at Summit Racing, Jeg's, etc. for new crate engines,zz4 and the like. Good Luck!! Doug
Thanks for your response. I am looking into local sources and will take your suggestion regarding Summit, Jegs, etc.
My initial inquire at chevy is that they are no longer shipping crate engines for 1991 vettes, which seems odd since the block is somewhat universal .. but, I will continue.
