I want to put a cool air induction system on my 2000 C5 and was looking for some advice on which one to use.

Thanks...

Depends on what you are looking for. For racing and actually improving your "times" or "ET" the Vararam is the one to get. Expensive and a bit difficult to install, cheaply made - but undeniable results.

All the rest are pretty much the same. The Blackwing is simple and easy to install. The dual cone filters type look nice and some are pretty inexpensive by comparison.

I put installed the HallTech Venom. Besides the high flow filter it relocates the MAF, supposedly for a more accurate reading. I am satisfied.

I have the K & N FIPK on my '04 Vert and it works great. A slight modification to the air duct up to the radiator and it pulls slightly pressurized air from up the front of the AC condensor. I am very pleased. Seat of the pants dyno says it works too...

I use a Donaldson and pulled the fog surrounds out :upthumbs
