working on my 87.. Go to relieve pressure at the Schraeder valve but there is none. Car has been parked for about 3 months. Is this unusual? Thanks.

Ah,It won't hold FP for 3 months! :D

The fuel pump starts up for 2-4 seconds at key up and shuts off, then the FP relay restarts it at start up!
With a Fuel pressure gauge hooked up a L98 should have between 34-39 lbs at key up!:thumb

Should hold pressure for at least an hour before starting to drop off,Some are pressure-less in 3 hours,Some will hold for a couple days!
If it drops off in less than an hour,You have a pressurized leak somewhere!
(Leaking Injectors,Leaking hose or line inside tank is common on C4's!)
