Reinstalling trim, locktite?

I am going to be reinstalling all od the trim. This is the first time I have taken it apart but I know someone else has before me and the threads are getting weak.

Is there any sort of thread sealant I can use to help hold everything in place so it won't loosen up over time? ie. low strength locktite?

I wouldn't use Loctite, I'd use whatever it is they use on the line - the gummy substance that looks sorta like tar.
