This month marks the 4th anniversary of the day my resurrected, very "unique", '84 committed suicide in my garage/driveway. I'll never forget this 'ol girl.

Hard to believe it's been four years, Bill.

Four years? It sure doesn't seem that long ago... :ugh

Nope, no signs whatsoever. In fact quite the contrary. I had been working on tuning the latest engine modifications, and it was actually running (and performing!) very nicely.

Yeah it has been 4 years. Sure doesn't seem like that long.

I was shocked when you posted the originals back 4 years... That had to be THE most pampered and cared for 1984 I ever saw, I mean with all them thar fancy switches in the console and work on that newfangled 1984 Cross Fire and all your modifications :eek

I still remember the "RIDE" and the exits thru the toll booths :chuckle she seemed to like that :dance

Well it took two wheels to get ya back to a Corvette and for that I am thankful :thumb

Bud

Yeah we had some good times for sure. Sometimes I still get the itch to continue on with proving that the L83 can be a formidable performer. I was well on the way when it happened.

And yes I still enjoy the two-wheeler!

I for one am inching towards finding that out and am still grateful for some past help from you. The L83 (383cid) now sits in and will power (thru 700R4) my '55 F100 on '84 Corvette suspension. Now sporting a Edelbrock carb/intake, I plan to return it to ECM power and would love learning what you did.
And yes I still enjoy the two-wheeler!
Ditto
