Remove tailight louvers..?????

I have a 2000 Vette which the previous owner put the color matching tailight louvers on each of the rear lights. I would
like to know how I can remove these with out distroying anything .... they DO NOT look to be held on with double sided tape... Where the screws would be to hold the tailight lense in have what looks like caps over them with not much in the way of any clue on how to remove .... can any one help me out .....

pop out the plastic covers with a small screwdriver and remove the screws. Should be no double sided tape or glue used, reinstall screws back on lens.
