Removing/inspecting HVAC fan?

...I havent peeked down there yet but thought I'd ask here, how easy is it to get to the HVAC fan so I can inspect it? At the minimal setting, it squeeks and if I turn the fan off, it stops so this leads me to believe its the fan. Hopefully I can cure it with grease but if not I"ll replace the fan. Any advice?

Well it was very easy, only 3 bolts. Anyway there was leaves in the blower motor. I removed the leaves and now it is just fine, no more squeek! Yay...
